Śraddhā School of Yoga

A yoga school that leads from the heart and brings the mind and the body along.

Śhraddhā School aspires to guide all students and teachers in comprehensive trainings to bring about transformation and ignite a joy and passion for life.

We conduct advanced studies programs, intensives, and train yoga teachers providing an experienced, well-studied, and dedicated faculty.

Adhikāra can mean studentship and is the name of our 100 hour advanced study program.

Adhikāra opens the door for any yoga student who wishes to deepen his/her understanding of yoga; including asana, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and philosophy.  We invite all with a curiosity for this practice to join us in an immersion into yoga.

This is a prerequisite for ALL students who wish to participate in teacher training with Śraddhā School of Yoga, even those who already hold a Yoga Alliance designation.

Advanced Yoga Studies

Teaching yoga as service (seva) to others. 100 hour training.

Seva expands upon Adhikara and gives you the tools to share this transformative practice effectively in order to be of service to the growing yoga community.  We help each student who aspires to teach to find his/her own voice and authentically bring his/her experience of the practice into the world.  In order to participate in the 100-hour Seva program, you must first complete Adhikara.  After Adhikara, you will have a good grasp on Śraddhā School of Yoga’s methodology and we can dive right into the techniques of teaching.

Yoga Teacher Training

Beyond Seva

Trainings for continuing education

With decades of yoga teaching experience, we recognize that even a year long teacher training program only provides the most basic foundation for a yoga teacher.

We have created many resources and trainings for continuing education for all of our Śraddhā School graduates.

Our newest offering for RYT-200 is our 300 hour teacher training.  This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your knowledge and be in greater service to your yoga community.

300 Hour Teacher Training

The voice of our students.

The Shraddhaa School advanced studies and teacher training programs did an amazing job for me in exploring and explaining the depths of yoga, from many discussions of anatomy and alignment in the physical asanas to exploring the connection of the mind and spirit. I came out of this program with a much greater understanding of all aspects of yoga and a much better understanding of and connection to my Self. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking to become a yoga teacher who can really connect to their students and have knowledge on how to help each student in their individual yoga practice or to anyone who simply wants to deepen their own yoga practice. On so many levels, the Śraddhā School and its teachers stand out from the crowd. Most important to me are the teachers’ commitment to community and the school’s encouragement and support for personal growth in its teachers and students alike. This is a place where everyone is welcomed and valued.

I am a recent graduate of the Śraddhā School of Yoga. With the support and encouragement of teachers and students, I’ve learned to explore my boundaries and push past them. I have learned to share myself and my journey authentically to help inspire and transform others. I am grateful to be a part of this community and would recommend the Śraddhā School of Yoga for anyone looking to deepen their yoga practice. You don’t have to know everything, if you’re waiting until you’ve mastered a handstand or wheel pose or whatever is holding you back it’s not a requirement. All you need is to show up with a willingness to learn, dedication, and an open heart. Jamie Wells
